Projects

In 2010 we have supported an international training program for young italian Neonatologists.

The three-year collaboration provides the funding for the achievement of an International Phd course through a collaboration with the Hospital Cesare Arrigo in Alexandria and the Universities of Utrecht and Maastricht, under the aegis of the SIN (Italian Society of Neonatology).

In addition we have completed the 3 phd projects of research already underway in financing and all concluded this year:

-     Predictive role of gene polymorphisms on the progression of nephropathy and on cardiovascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes, Mario Negri Institute, Bergamo.

-    The relevance of the morbidities in the care of chronic diseases, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

-    Study of small airways in asthma and COPD, University of Pisa.
