The Foundation autonomously promotes its initiatives in pneumology, in particular in chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), neonatology and rare diseases.  There are 5 main interventional areas as follows:

- enhancing scientific research and sharing of biomedical knowledge;

- support to young researchers;

-  projects that are harmonious with the aims of associations for patients affected by rare diseases;

- initiatives for patients that are also intended to protect the environment

The projects that the Foundation has decided to pursue in 2010 have as common denominator, the generation and the diffusion of scientific knowledge.
